COUGAR THE MUSICAL LLC (Producer) is dedicated to producing viable, uplifting and socially relevant works for the theatre.
EDMUND GAYNES (Producer) is a longtime theater owner in New York and L.A., and accomplished general manager and producer who has nurtured and backed a number of long-running titles. His Off Broadway credits include Cougar the Musical, Black Angels, Rain Pryor’s Fried Chicken and Latkes and Danny and Sylvia, as well as the well-reviewed Zero Hour. He is also currently general managing “Cougar The Musical”. Gaynes also recently hung out a new shingle, launching Gaynes Theatrical Booking to rep Off Broadway touring properties.
THE STORYLINE PROJECT LLC (Associate Producer) R.K. Greene founded SLP to develop new plays and musicals. Producing credits include Room Service, The Other Side of Newark, Love Child, and the Tony Award-winning play, Peter and the Starcatcher, now on Broadway. As Business/Marketing Director at The Directors Company, R.K. assisted in the Broadway transfer of Irena’s Vow and this season’s productions of Poetic License and Murder in the First at 59E59 Theaters,http://www.storylineproject.com/
JARED A. HERSHKOWITZ (Associate Producer) began his theatre career as standby for Nick Burns and then as replacement in the Broadway production of A Thousand Clowns with Jason Robards. He has acted in many shows Off Broadway and in regional productions. He became a Professor of Theatre in the SUNY system and later went on to Chair a BFA Theatre Program and won the 2008 Theatre Museum award for his work. He has produced many productions out of town including the first revival of the Rodgers and Hart Broadway show, Spring is Here directed by Tony Walton and starring Melissa Errico, Daniel Gerroll, Greg Mills, and Jenny Fellner. He produced the original musical, A Moment in Time by multiple Tony Award winner, Stewart F. Lane. In New York, he has produced awards shows and many workshops and readings.
BOB JOHNSON (Associate Producer) is a playwright, journalist, videographer and photographer. He is the co-author (book & lyrics) of Oedipus! A New Musical Comedy. His plays have been produced in New York City, the District of Columbia, Chicago and elsewhere. Johnson has created videos for the recent Broadway revival of Godspell, The Awesome 80s Prom, The Berenstain Bears Live, Moey’s Music Party, New York Bully Crew (a pit bull rescue organization) and more. He is a member of The Recording Academy and co-producer of the Parents’ Choice Gold Award-winning Princess Revolution! by Moey’s Music Party. BittenByAZebra.com.
JENNIFER KRANZ (Associate Producer) is a television executive at AMC Networks. She has also held producing and executive tenures at Cablevision, Time Warner, and NBC Universal. She has also worked in an advisory capacity with several esteemed New York, not-for-profit theater companies. She produced “The Baby Janes” Off Broadway in 2004.
ST. LUKE’S THEATRE has been the home to many long-running hits, dating back to Late Night Catechism and Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding, up to the current Sistas and the recent Danny and Sylvia: The Danny Kaye Musical, The Devil’s Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith, and Channeling Kevin Spacey. Other notable productions include The Rise of Dorothy Hale, A Brush With Georgia O’Keeffe, Lansky, 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother and My Big , Gay Italian Wedding.
